In July 2020, four years after the death of Adama Traoré, killed by three policemen, the collective La Vérité pour Adama, led by his sister Assa Traoré, organised a march in commemoration of his death.

The march was co-organised with Alternatiba, an ecological movement, to promote the links between antiracism and the ecology, for a decolonial ecology. Other organised joined the march, such as the yellow vests and undocumented immigrants.
