I started getting involved in protests when I was fourteen and went to République during the Nuit Debout sit-in. I took part in the orchestra as playing music was the skill I had then.

 

Years later, while living in Paris, I documented weekly protests and activist actions. By taking photos, I aim to capture singular expressions and details that one doesn't see in a mainstream news story about a protest.
